Gamers Wanted: Students from Grades 5-12
At NextGen Academy, we’re turning after-school time into an epic adventure! Our Tutors & Tournaments (TNT) League is the ultimate afterschool experience, combining accelerated academic tutoring with competitive gaming—so students excel both in school and on the leaderboard!

Designed for students in 5th through 12th grade, this program ignites a passion for learning while boosting grades in a way they’ll actually enjoy.

With personalized instruction and proven learning techniques, students don’t just keep up—they get ahead!
Every hour of tutoring earns 1 hour of gaming time, free tournament entries, and access to exclusive events where students compete, strategize, and have fun.
Players sharpen decision-making, problem-solving, and reaction speed in weekly matches, monthly tournaments, and quarterly championships while competing for premium prizes. They adapt, recall strategies, and think ahead—just like in real-world challenges.
Gaming isn’t just competition—it’s connection. Players collaborate, communicate, and build friendships while learning leadership, adaptability, and emotional intelligence in high-energy team play.
4:00PM – 6:00PM – Tutoring Block
After a student’s initial onboarding into the NextGen Academy Afterschool Program, students will be placed according to their grade levels. Following placement, students will be guided by our tutors through a 2-hour Tutoring Block.
6:00PM – 8:00PM – Gaming Block
Once students have completed their tutoring for the afternoon, they will break for lunch before beginning their Gaming Block.
10:00AM – 4:00PM – Tutoring Block
On weekends, students who require more time to complete their tutoring will have the opportunity to do so between the hours of 10:00AM – 4:00PM.
12:00PM – 4:00PM – Gaming Block
All students who’ve completed their tutoring requirements will be able to participate in Tournament Play, where they can earn valuable XP (Experience Points) towards the TNT League.
